That, my friend, looks like a Duke of Burgundy. That is NOT a common butterfly round our way.Let's put it this way. If I was to put my current thoughts into writing, I'd sound a bit like Parus. It's that sweary.
But what you're forgetting is that I am extremely infantile, especially via this blog..... we were in fact at the main Duke of Burgundy site in Kent.
Your orchid sp looks like a rather weedy specimen of Lady. They're normally much stouter and more robust.
